Kenneth J. Mischel, Partner

Ken joined Mike Wooten in October of 1990 to form the firm of Wooten & Mischel. Prior to that time, Ken worked principally for the firm of Kernutt Stokes Brandt & Company beginning in January 1977, earning his CPA certification in 1979. Ken is a graduate of Portland State University. He is a member of the AICPA and the Oregon Society of CPAs.
Ken and his wife Crystal are very active in community events. His civic activities include serving on a Lane County Revenue Task Force and on the Springfield Budget Committee. He is active in Rotary having served as President of Springfield-Twin Rivers Rotary Club, Chairman of the Eugene/Springfield Great Rotary Duck Race, and currently as District Treasurer of Rotary District 5110. He also is active in Boy Scouting serving as Adult Partner/Treasurer of Tsisqan Lodge of the Order of the Arrow of Oregon Trail Council.
Corwin G. Lewis, Partner

Corwin joined the firm of Wooten & Mischel in 1996. His public accounting experience dates back to 1977 when he worked for a regional CPA firm in Eugene while obtaining an MBA degree at the University of Oregon. He also has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Brigham Young University. He certified as a CPA in 1980 with his public accounting experience since then being mostly focused in tax planning and compliance. He is a member of the AICPA and the Oregon Society of CPAs.
Corwin and his wife Lynette both have their roots in southern Arizona. Corwin spends most of his time outside the office in family and church activities. He is also active in Boy Scouting and the Springfield Rotary Club.
Donn E. Potter, Partner

Donn joined the firm in 2002 and brings 38 years of tax and personal financial planning experience gained with national (Big 8 back then) and local public accounting firms as well as international and regional financial management organizations. He became a CPA in 1972 and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in 1996. Donn is a member of the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Division, the Oregon Society of CPAs and the Eugene Estate Planning Council.
Donn and his wife Linda have four grown children and 12 grandchildren. Donn enjoys reading, hiking and following the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.
Michael B. Wooten, Partner

Mike has 35 years experience since graduating from the University of Oregon in 1969. He enjoys the challenge of helping people keep their financial houses in order and assisting them in lowering their taxes whenever possible.
He has operated as a general practitioner with interest in real estate activities. He has also been interested in assisting clients use S-Corporations and Limited Liability Companies to their advantage.
Mike and his wife, Joan, feel very fortunate to have been able to raise their three children in Lane County.
